Amish Sugar Cookies

From Cooking With Wings Volume 2

1 cup sugar
1 cup powdered sugar
1 cup butter
1 cup cooking oil
2 eggs
4 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine sugars, butter, and oil - beat well. Add the eggs and mix until combined.
Then add flour, baking powder, baking soda, cream of tartar, and vanilla. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Form into small balls, flatten slightly with a fork, and bake at 375 F for 10-12 minutes.
