In early 2017 I built my own desktop computer, affectionally called The Monster. I researched the kind of system
I wanted and what I would use it for and, with the help of Logical Increments, I found and purchased
the parts I needed from NewEgg and Amazon and set off building the computer.
My motivation for building The Monster was that I wanted a machine that was powerful enough to play graphic-intensive
games such as Cities: Skylines, as well as having a dedicated machine for programming and recording
television over-the-air using a Hauppauge TV tuner stick and antenna.
